We created AWH to give something back to a community that has taken Android to heights that most manufacturers and bean counters could never fathom. We rocognize how hard it is to get the word out, and many devs do it for the love of Android, and never receive a single donation for their hard work. We can’t donate money to every developer,, hacker, and modder, so we deviced to donate services instead.

Human Readable Terms of Service

A. Term

  1. The host will provide service for a minimum of 30days after an agreement has been reached.
  2. The host will notify all participant at least 30day prior, should the program ever be discontinued.
  3. The host will make all data stored on the servers available to the participant for a minimum of 30days should the service ever be discontinued.
  4. None of the previous rules apply if the participant be found in violation of any rules explained in section B.
  5. The participant agrees to provide a link on their website (that is no white text on a white background) that identifies our sponsor Linology Networks as a sponsor or host. Acceptable references include Hosted by, Sponsored by, In Association with, you get the picture. (Linology Networks, http://www.linology.com)

B. Acceptable Use of Services

  1. The service may ONLY be used to host opensource projects, android projects, and or developer related websites affiliated with the Android platform.
  2. The service MAY NOT be used to host anything that might get you, use, or someone else added to any FBI lists.
  3. You may not host bots, irc, proxies, etc that are always questionable. (Don’t play dumb, we know it’s for “educational” use and don’t care)
  4. Don’t host something that obviously belongs to someone else, and will have the datacenters sending us nastygrams and DMCA notices.
  5. If you are reading this and wondering if something you want to do that is “kinda” not defined, then it’s probably not allowed. See B1.

C. Enforcement

  1. If you violate the rules, we reserve the right to erase you from the internet and talk junk about you on twitter, facebook, or anywhere we think someone will listen.
  2. If you made an honest mistake, or we don’t think your intentions are malicious, you will be given a warning and 24hrs to remedy the problem.
  3. We reserve the right to review content at anytime for compliance, and show now remorse when pulling the plug.
  4. Should your content be unacceptable but not illegal, you may request a backup of the data within 48hrs of removal.

D. Warranty

  1. It’s free, there isn’t one, I mean….really?

E. Indemnification

  1. All participants shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Android Web Hosting and the sponsor Linology Networks harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney’s fees asserted against them, its agents, its subscribers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by subscriber, it’s agents, employees or assigns.

F. Miscellaneous

  1. If you read this far, you are either very thorough or very paranoid! We aren’t up to anything sneaky just a bit of fun for the community, and maybe some advertising for our sponsor.
  2. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
