We wanted to give something tangible back to a community that has taken Android and the opensource movement to new heights. Too often the work of the community, goes unrewarded, so we decided to put our servers where our mouth is. It also helps that the CEO of Linology Networks is a ginormous Android fan, and told us to come up with something cool for the guys and gals of Droidania.

Who Can Apply?

All android and opensource community members are open to apply for services. We will be giving priority to developers, modders, hackers, and application owners who already have active projects and need a more reliable hosting environment.

Who Pays The Bills?

The Android Web Hosting project is operated by Linology Networks, a premium web hosting company. Linology Networks owes a large amount of it’s success to the opensource community, and wanted to give something back.

Soooo, what’s the catch? You know there has to be one? There is no such thing as a free lunch…right? Well it’s pretty simple. All the sponsor asks for in return for the free services, is a linkback, footer, or badge of some sort that acknowledges that the website is hosted or sponsored by Linology Networks. We aren’t talking about some gaudy gold seal that ruins your site, just a simple footer linkback makes us happy
